For the very first time, the farmers taste and drink Pure Nacional chocolate made in Switzerland from the cacao beans they grow in the Marañón Canyon. At an Association meeting, the men and women who live on the farms, care for the trees and harvest the pods, taste Fortunato No. 4 which has traveled from Peru to Switzerland and to the Marañón Canyon. In their own words, translated into English by members of our team, they tell their stories about what this discovery means to their families and their community. With great pride and respect, they honor and taste this rare treasure. They loved the taste!
